Aftab was apprehended by the authorities on Saturday, November 12 2022, for killing his Hindu live-in partner Shraddha in Mumbai and disposing of her body, which he had sliced into 35 pieces.
In Mumbai, the murderer Aftab met the victim Shraddha. At a call center, the pair collaborated. Shraddha’s parents disapproved of her connection with Aftab, therefore she ran away from home after falling in love with him.
In Delhi’s Mehrauli neighborhood, the couple started living together. According to reports, Aftab was upset with the victim because she had proposed to him. He killed her by strangling her on May 18 of this year. After that, the defendant bought a refrigerator and kept her body inside of it for several days. Aftab dismembered Shraddha into 35 pieces.
